Tania Teschke’s work has evolved over the past decade from travel photography to family and children’s portraits, weddings and events, and photo-documentary. Currently living in Tokyo, Tania has exhibited in Paris and created a series of Japan, Moscow, St. Petersburg and Paris themed note cards. Primarily self- taught, Tania has interned with National Geographic photographer Steve McCurry, has assisted photographers in Paris and Washington, DC and worked informally with several photography professionals. Her work with fashion magazines in Moscow took her to the runways of fashion shows in Moscow and New York. For USAID Russia she created and taught a photography course in camera use, composition and lighting. Tania has had photographs published in Tokyo's English-Language magazine Metropolis, Tokyo fashion magazine Miss, and most recently in Asahi Weekly Magazine and Asahi Camera Monthly Photography Journal.
